Laurie Calton

Kindergarten Teacher

Laurie Calton is the parent of a student in the very first Lawton Academy class in 1999. Her daughter Allison went on to graduate from Lawton Academy as the Valedictorian of the class of 2012. Mrs. Calton joined our staff as the school cook in 2003, but it quickly became apparent that she should be teaching. She taught 3rd grade for twelve years before resigning due to health concerns with her husband, Perry.

This year, Mrs. Calton rejoins our staff as the new kindergarten teacher, and we are very happy to have her back!
