Summer applied to and was accepted to many colleges across the nation. Ultimately, she chose to attend Brown University to pursue a degree in International Public Affairs. There were 46,568 applicants, and only 2,537 were granted admission. Wow! During her time in school, Summer was very involved in Student Government, and she participated in JROTC, receiving an ROTC scholarship.
