Katrina Patnode

5th Grade Teacher

Mrs. Patnode retired with two decades of active-duty service in the U.S. Army. She transitioned to education in 2018, focusing on empowering students and families. She received her master’s degree in education and School Counseling from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. She was previously a Registered Behavior Therapist and has experience as a former 5th-grade teacher for Lawton Public Schools. Currently pursuing her Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure, Katrina will serve as a 6th grade teacher at the Lawton Academy of Arts and Sciences. Outside of her professional endeavors, Katrina is a wife and mother of 14-year-old twins, balancing family life with her passion for gardening, travel, and volunteer work with the Lawton/Fort Sill chapter of the Women’s Veterans Organization, where she actively supports fellow service members and their families
